About the role

  • Senior Benefits Analyst managing the administration of U.S. pension and Canadian retirement programs. Leading compliance activities and serving as a subject matter expert in benefits administration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day to day activities for U.S. pension and Canadian retirement programs
  • Collect and analyze data; conduct regular audits of data, processes and systems to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, responding to unresolved and escalated complex employee questions and issues
  • Coordinate compliance activities such as government filings, plan valuations, nondiscrimination testing, plan audits, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • At least 6-8 years of experience in 401k plan and pension administration
  • Strong benefit knowledge across all types of retirement plans
  • Knowledge of U.S. federal regulations such as ERISA, PPA, IRC, PBGC, SEC and DOL requirements
  • Expertise with savings plan recordkeeping systems
  • Excellent Excel skills
