Development and implementation of strategies: temporary reassignment, medical expert assessments, appeals of decisions, cost-sharing arrangements, drafting comments to the Employer’s Notice, and handling reimbursement requests.
Strategic communication with injured employees, Operations teams, the CNESST, and internal partners.
Collaboration with internal and external lawyers to build strong cases.
Reference and coaching role: support junior advisors, conduct workplace visits with the CNESST, and promote continuous improvement of occupational health and safety (OHS) practices.
Requirements
Proven experience: minimum 5 years managing CNESST claims or in a similar field.
Natural curiosity and investigative mindset: thorough analysis and exploration of all lines of inquiry.
Strong analytical skills and an instinct for identifying key issues and anticipating risks.
Strategic vision and foresight to guide decisions and optimize practices.
