About the role
- Supervising janitorial crews at City Wide Facility Solutions during 2nd shift hours. Overseeing operations, training staff, and ensuring high-quality cleaning standards.
Responsibilities
- As a leading provider in building maintenance, City Wide Facility Solutions is looking for a 2nd Shift Janitorial Supervisor / Night Manager to join our team.
- Your shift will typically run from 6 PM to 12 AM, 1-3 nights per week, where you'll be responsible for overseeing night crews and ensuring that all cleaning operations are executed with the highest quality standards.
- You will be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough inspections of all facilities to ensure compliance with established cleaning protocols.
- Training and supervising janitorial crews, offering feedback and supportive coaching as needed.
- Communicating effectively with crew members and the day shift management team to address any operational issues or special requests.
- Compiling detailed nightly reports summarizing completed work, noting any issues, and providing feedback on crew performance.
- Ensuring that security protocols are followed by maintaining organized key access for all buildings.
- The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. While bilingualism is preferred, it is not mandatory.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in the janitorial industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
- Must have reliable transportation; a car allowance is provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
- Bilingual English - Spanish is preferred but not required.
