About the role

  • Senior Regulatory Reporting professional leading and scaling regulatory operations services at G MASS Consulting. Overseeing multi-team operational function for managed reporting solutions to clients in finance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic direction and growth of the regulatory operations service offering.
  • Build and develop high-performing teams, ensuring the right structure and capabilities to support multiple clients.
  • Create and maintain operational runbooks, procedures, and training materials to support consistency and scalability.
  • Define KPIs and success measures to assess client engagement, service quality, and operational performance.
  • Implement tracking processes to monitor workloads, support scope, and delivery timelines.
  • Establish clear approval and prioritisation frameworks for new, complex, or non-standard reporting requests.
  • Set and align RACI models and SLAs across internal teams to ensure clarity of ownership and expectations.
  • Champion automation, efficiency, and standardisation initiatives across the service offering.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to prioritise and deliver reporting improvements and enhancements.

Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience in regulatory transaction reporting gained in a major financial institution or consultancy.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of key global reporting regimes (e.g., EMIR, MiFID, CFTC/SEC-SBSR, SFTR, ASIC, MAS, HKMA, CSA).
  • Proven track record in building, leading, and developing global operations teams within the regulatory reporting space.
  • Solid understanding of derivatives products, transaction data, and reference data, with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into operational processes.
  • Broad familiarity with front-to-back functions across financial institutions.
  • Good understanding of OTC and exchange-traded derivatives infrastructure, including trading venues, clearing houses, and external service providers.

Benefits

  • Salary: £90,000-120,000 depending on experience.
  • 12-months initial contract, with a view for permanent internalisation with the end client.
