  • Monitor firewall logs and alerts to identify and respond to potential threats.
  • Support troubleshooting of firewall-related issues and network connectivity problems.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to implement firewall rules and policies.
  • Participate in vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts.
  • Document firewall configurations, changes, and incident responses.
  • Stay current with emerging threats and firewall technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, subnets, routing, NAT).
  • Familiarity with firewall technologies and security principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Have a strong ability and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
