About the role

  • Project Manager Intern at Glartek in Leiria, Portugal. Focused on supporting industrial digital transformation projects through planning, execution, and customer collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of customer implementation projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their industrial processes and ensure successful integration of Glartek’s solutions.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables, identify risks, and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in drafting technical documentation, project reports, and presentations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, product, support) to ensure smooth project rollouts.
  • Help improve and document project management processes and implementation playbooks.
  • Participate in customer onboarding, training sessions, and content creation.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated with a BSc/MSc in Industrial Management Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of or academic exposure to industrial project management, lean manufacturing, or process improvement.
  • Interest in digital transformation technologies (AR, IoT, AI) applied to manufacturing or asset-intensive industries.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Portuguese and English (Spanish is a plus).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • IEFP professional internship is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Notion) is a plus.
  • Previous internship or project experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is a plus.
