About the role

  • Senior Director leading U.S. advocacy strategy across Gilead’s Oncology portfolio, focusing on a late-stage asset. Collaborating with Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Government Affairs teams to address unmet needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead U.S. advocacy strategy across Gilead’s Oncology portfolio
  • Shape and advance Gilead’s position as an emerging oncology leader by elevating the patient’s voice
  • Partner externally to address unmet needs
  • Work closely with U.S. Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Government Affairs teams
  • Represent U.S. Oncology Public Affairs on cross-functional teams
  • Design and implement advocacy partnerships and programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of relevant experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, advocacy, or scientific communications; or master's degree with 12+ years of experience.
  • Proven experience leading product related advocacy strategies tied to clinical data, regulatory milestones, and launch preparation.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders, academic experts, and patient advocates with credibility and confidence.
  • Prior experience in oncology, advocacy, government affairs, policy, or medical affairs.
