About the role

  • Conduct post-entry reviews, communicate findings and training opportunities
  • Ensure compliance through CBP verifications and maintain accurate documentation
  • Communicate with CBP and Partner Government Agencies to resolve issues
  • Analyze reports to identify refund opportunities, assess client risks or duty impact
  • Provide expert guidance on tariff classification, FTA qualification, and other CBP programs
  • Prepare, file and bill post-entry claims
  • Coordinate CBP Binding Ruling Requests
  • Reconcile duty tenders and refunds
  • Petition and/or facilitate payment of CBP penalties and liquidated damages
  • Collaborate with team members during daily huddles and provide operational support

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Customs Brokerage experience
  • Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) Designation
  • Licensed Customs Broker preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, tariff classification, and ACE functionality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and brokerage systems
