About the role

  • Finance Manager overseeing financial operations for the group at WECOYA. Leading financial reporting, budgeting, and team development while ensuring compliance and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the group-wide financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the group, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Analyze operational performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement and profit-enhancing opportunities
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management, assisting in strategic decision-making and performance improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls, managing audits and liaising with external auditors
  • Drive process improvements across the finance function, implementing best practices and efficient reporting systems
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is highly preferred
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a finance role, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis, ideally within a group or multinational environment
  • Demonstrated experience in managing the financial operations of a complex organization
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial modelling, and financial software
  • Strong understanding of group consolidation, financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems)
  • Fluent in English; fluent in Danish and German would be advantageous.
