About the role
- Medizincontroller position managing medical controlling for GFO Kliniken, ensuring compliance and revenue management. Overseeing coding and collaboration with medical departments across locations.
Responsibilities
- Decentralized technical and disciplinary leadership of Medical Controlling
- Technical responsibility for coding, MD (Medical Service) management, and audits/reviews
- Complete, accurate and timely medical coding
- Timely processing of MD and payer inquiries
- Advising the commercial directorate and the medical services
- Taking into account hospital reform and the increasing shift to outpatient/ambulatory care
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree (Health Economics, Health Management, Business Administration, Medicine) or a medical qualification
- Several years of professional experience in medical controlling, ideally in a leadership role
- Completed further training as a certified coding specialist
- Sound knowledge of the DRG and PEPP systems
- Knowledge of CGM medico (KIS) and uhb Amondis
- Strong analytical skills
- Structured, organized working style
- Leadership experience and strong communication and managerial skills
- Interest in digitalization and IT topics
