About the role

  • Lead IT M&A Architect for integrating acquisitions at GlobalFoundries. Focus on technology, processes, and cultural alignment for M&A success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of integration strategies for M&A projects
  • Serve as the primary architect and subject matter expert for technology and business process integrations related to M&A transactions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify integration requirements, risks, and dependencies
  • Help develop and maintain detailed integration roadmaps and playbooks for acquired entities
  • Conduct due diligence assessments to evaluate technology, process, and organizational fit
  • Establish systems integration strategy and contribute to process harmonization efforts
  • Establish integration KPIs, reporting progress and issues to executive leadership
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with integration
  • Continuously improve M&A integration methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in M&A integration, IT architecture, or business process transformation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven track record of leading successful post-merger integrations
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.)
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with cultural integration and change management in multi-national environments.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
