About the role

  • Technical Project Manager executing projects for GE Vernova. Responsible for managing high-quality technical project outcomes in industrial business contexts.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for end-to-end execution of technical projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes for customers.
  • Partners strategically with functional product owners to define feature backlogs and requirements.
  • Collaborates with both internal and external technical teams to deliver results on time, within scope and budget.
  • Ensures project management practices are consistently followed and continuously improved as needed.
  • Works closely with functional owners, technical project teams, and interdependent teams to drive successful execution.
  • Serves as the Application Governance Leader for Sourcing applications, partnering with service providers to meet operational support and compliance requirements.
  • Manages project risks, scope changes, and other non-standard events throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversees stakeholder communications and provides regular progress updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with significant relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and knowledge.
  • Professional background supported by strong experience in technology and business processes.
  • Exposure to industrial businesses is strongly preferred.
  • Experience contributing to full project lifecycles.
  • Experience working with offshore teams, including development and/or application support.
  • Foundational training and understanding of AI and Generative AI concepts.
  • Knowledge of procurement, purchasing, supplier, and accounts payable systems.
  • Strong team player who collaborates effectively with others to solve problems and incorporates input from multiple sources.
  • Experience working with global teams and stakeholders across regions.
  • Ability to apply knowledge to coach and mentor others.
  • Demonstrated customer focus, with the ability to evaluate decisions from the customer’s perspective.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Change-oriented mindset, with a track record of driving process improvements.
  • PMP, ScrumMaster, or other relevant project management certifications preferred.
  • Awareness of ITIL or similar IT service management processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
