About the role
- Lead Engineer in Steam Turbine and HRSG Project Engineering for GE Vernova. Provide technical project management and coordinate engineering activities for major projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide input and make decisions that influence major technical and financial outcomes
- drive coordination of engineering activities and critical issue resolution for OTR-related issues
- provide technical project management and direction as a liaison with customers and EPC representatives
- ensure compliance with contract requirements and improve project execution
- support management of the Engineering Budget and provide quarterly Estimate at Completions (EACs)
- present project issue resolutions to upper management and create action plans to remedy risks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university OR a high school diploma/ GED with 5 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Engineering, Design Engineering, and/or Field Engineering related to Steam Turbine or HRSG Projects
- Eligibility Requirement: Ability and willingness to travel, as required ~10%
- Ability and willingness to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Leadership-quality communication skills, both verbal and written
