About the role
- Lead Application Engineer in GE Gas Power developing technical solutions for Gas Turbines. Collaborating globally on Inquiry to Order (ITO) processes and proposal generation.
Responsibilities
- develops technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics, etc.) as part of the Inquiry To Order (ITO) process
- collaborates with design COE teams to develop an understanding of plant, system and equipment performance and efficiency post-upgrade
- documents technical specifications & costing elements for a CM&U upgrade
- owns relevant Technical Application Guidelines (TAG) to support accurate and timely proposal generation
- resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment
Requirements
- advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Customer Application Engineering
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s))
- experience in HD Services ITO or ITR Engineering
- familiarity with ITR processes
- knowledge of the Legacy Alstom Gas Turbine technology
- knowledge of the GE Vernova Gas Turbine product portfolio
- Master's degree in engineering from an accredited university is desired
