About the role
- Lead Developer C# overseeing software development and stability in security-critical projects. Collaborating with product teams to enhance process efficiency and implement technical decisions.
Responsibilities
- Development of core components and complex features in security- and performance-critical areas, ensuring stable, maintainable software including testing strategies
- Clarification of technical dependencies, removal of blockers, harmonization of implementations, and ensuring adherence to architecture, security, and compliance standards
- Conducting structured reviews, promoting best practices and ensuring knowledge transfer within the team
- Supporting Product Owners and Scrum Masters with planning, refinement, and prioritization
- Identifying and reducing technical debt and advancing development and delivery processes (CI/CD, automation, observability, security)
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable education with a focus on software development
- Several years of experience in software development, ideally in different teams/projects (e.g., C#, .NET, Angular, C++)
- Deep understanding of modern software architectures and design principles
- Very strong hands-on implementation skills and operational coding capability
- Experience in technical leadership without direct personnel responsibility (e.g., Senior/Lead Developer)
- Confident handling of build, CI/CD and deployment processes (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git)
- High quality orientation, structured working style and strong sense of ownership
- Strong communication skills within a team environment and willingness to share knowledge
- Very good command of German and English
