About the role
- Lead SAP S/4HANA implementations, conversions and rollouts with full project accountability. Coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage scope/schedule/budget and ensure user adoption using traditional and agile methods.
Responsibilities
- Full accountability for SAP S/4HANA implementations, conversions, rollouts and transformation projects.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality and risks using Planview.
- Build and lead complex project organizations (internal, external, international).
- Apply traditional, hybrid and agile project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, SAFe, Scrum).
- Escalation management and decision-making at management and steering committee levels.
- Coordinate SAP modules, non‑SAP systems, interfaces, data migration and middleware.
- Work closely with enterprise and solution architects.
- Consider IT security, data protection (e.g., GDPR), compliance and governance requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, decision-making sessions and management presentations.
- Oversee change management and communications activities.
- Ensure user acceptance and sustainable adoption of solutions.
- Select, manage and evaluate external SAP consulting partners.
- Ensure quality standards, best practices and capture lessons learned.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field.
- Several years of experience (>8–10 years) in IT project management, preferably in the SAP environment.
- Solid hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA (Greenfield, Brownfield, Landscape Transformation).
- Knowledge of system architectures & IT landscapes; interfaces; data migration & master data management; and cloud and hybrid architectures.
- Basic understanding of IT security, Identity & Access Management and DevOps and release management processes.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, SAP Cloud ALM, Planview).
