About the role
- IT Strategy Manager supporting the CIO in developing and monitoring IT strategy at GETEC. Contributing to financial and operational IT reports and managing cross-department IT projects.
Responsibilities
- Support the CIO in developing, implementing and monitoring the IT strategy
- Coordinate IT budgeting, forecasting and cost tracking in collaboration with Controlling/Finance
- Consolidate financial and operational inputs from IT departments into management reports and dashboards
- Support portfolio and investment planning through financial analyses and tracking of relevant metrics
- Prepare and follow up on management meetings; create presentations, reports, analyses, KPIs and decision papers
- Manage and coordinate cross-departmental IT projects and initiatives
- Monitor budget, resources and timelines within the CIO Office
- Communicate and align with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the optimization of IT finance and reporting processes
Requirements
- Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in IT controlling/IT finance, IT portfolio management, IT strategy or a similar analytical role
- Experience managing complex projects and in stakeholder management
- Knowledge of modern IT frameworks/methods (e.g. ITIL, agile methodologies) is an advantage
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Structured, independent and meticulous way of working
- Hands-on mentality, organisational skills and assertiveness
- Business-fluent German and English
