About the role
- Software Developer for platform engineering developing and supporting cloud storage systems at a company focused on simplifying software deployment and operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support various cloud storage systems used to manage large volumes of structured and unstructured data
- Operate the underlying infrastructure, ensuring overall governance, high availability, capacity management, and appropriate incident response procedures
- Accelerate and simplify development for application teams by providing solutions and technologies tailored to their data storage needs
- Design dynamic, flexible, and scalable services for our customers
- Participate in deploying new instances of our software in the cloud and contribute to building tools for monitoring system health (DevOps)
- Develop software components, sample implementations, and associated automated tests
- Take part in the design and estimation of tasks for different features
- Provide feedback on upcoming features and user stories
- Collaborate with partners and software testers to resolve product bugs
- Work in a fast-paced environment using Agile and Kanban methodologies
- Participate in the on-call rotation as needed and according to the established schedule
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- At least 3 years of experience in a software development role
- Passion for cutting-edge technologies
- Ability to learn quickly and understand complex problems
- Strong team spirit and collaborative nature
- Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written
