About the role
- Finance & Compliance Manager responsible for statutory audits and financial compliance at a leading Physical Security provider in India. Opportunity to streamline processes and collaborate cross-functionally.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the annual statutory audit for Genetec India
- Oversee implementation, documentation, and ongoing maintenance of internal controls
- Partner with internal stakeholders to enhance financial reporting accuracy
- Manage and oversee timely preparation and submission of all statutory information filings
- Oversee annual tax returns and all associated tax compliance
- Perform month-end closing activities including reconciliation of key general ledger accounts
- Drive initiatives focused on continuous improvement, automation, and optimization of existing systems
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial and compliance processes through automation
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with a leading accounting or audit firm, with strong exposure to statutory audits, controls, and compliance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (functions, data analysis, reporting).
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with high ownership.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
