About the role
- Engineer developing high-performance enterprise document management systems at GEICO. Collaborating with teams to optimize user experience and support business initiatives in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Use document management tools to create and maintain GEICO’s enterprise document library.
- Coordinate and collaborate with product managers, engineering team members and product team to solve complex problems.
- Monitor data platform performance, analyze metrics, and iterate on features to optimize user experience and business outcomes.
- Manage business initiatives across functional teams through the entire product lifecycle.
- Coordinate support for partner teams such as Claims, Printing Center, and Commercial lines.
- Provide ‘on-call’ support for Production systems, servers, and applications.
Requirements
- Proficient with enterprise document solutions (preferably OpenText products).
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-level content development for CCM tools.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, .NET, or Python is desired.
- Understanding of print orchestration services.
- Ability to analyze and estimate at a high level.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of document management tools, DevOps, and product/software development lifecycle.
- 2+ years of enterprise document development.
- 2+ years of experience with architecture/design of complex document platforms.
- 2+ years of experience with insurance document life cycle.
