EHS Governance Manager supporting Regions globally in compliance and risk management for Project, Services, and Manufacturing activities. Ensuring governance and transparency in operations across industrial or energy environments.
Responsibilities
Support the Regions in a global environment
Define, deploy, and maintain an effective governance framework across Projects, Services, and Manufacturing activities
Ensure alignment with business strategy, compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Drive transparency, accountability, and performance while supporting operational teams in delivering safely on time, cost, and compliance
Develop and maintain governance policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with business objectives
Monitor governance-related risks, ensure mitigation plans are in place, and track their effectiveness
Establish governance KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance across Projects, Services, and Manufacturing
Act as a key interface between Business Leadership, Operations, Functions, and Regions
Coach the organization on governance standards and compliance requirements
Requirements
Master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
Degree in engineering, environmental science, safety management or other EHS-related technical discipline is required
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Projects, Services, Manufacturing, or Operations within an industrial or energy environment
Strong experience in governance, project management frameworks, operational excellence, or risk management
Solid understanding of matrix organizations and complex international environments
Strong knowledge of health & safety programs including Lockout-Tagout, Confined Space, Electrical Safety, Hazardous Chemical Management, etc.
Experience with independent standards organizations and certification programs such as ISO 4001, ISO 45001, etc.
Strong skills to influence and motivate leaders and employees
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical reports and regulatory documents/standards
High level of integrity, independence, and accountability with flexibility to navigate in a multi-cultural environment
Fluency in the English language is required
Additional language as French, Spanish, German would be appreciated.
