About the role

  • Provide direction and assistance to the Engineering teams to meet assigned configuration management objectives.
  • Lead in selection of DC or Configuration Management Information System (CMIS), procurement, maintenance, interoperability, and interfacing with a common data environment.
  • Define and support nuclear industry configuration management practices, document management, and change control processes for new commercial nuclear power plant projects.
  • Drive specification, development, implementation, and operation of assigned DC processes consistent with GVH and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of DC processes and tools for nuclear plant projects, coordinate GVH project DC processes with other organizations.
  • Assist with engineering configuration management implementation activities inside GVH, in partnership with Information Technology (IT) and support DC interface activities at suppliers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a Document Control position with experience in the commercial Nuclear industry
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting Document Control for Small Modular Reactor (SMR) projects
  • CM certification (CMII, CMPIC, etc.)
  • Experience in a role interfacing with customers, regulators and/or suppliers
  • Working knowledge of codes, standards & regulations related to nuclear power plants
  • Knowledge of and experience with Configuration Management Engineering plant modeling activities
  • Knowledge of and experience with engineering design and design process tools such as Doors Next Gen, SmartPlant, 3KeyMaster or other similar design tools, and with software systems QA requirements
