About the role

  • Information Security Analyst supporting the Department of State contract. Managing security operations and leading a team in compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage a team of 5 to 8 security staff
  • Provide support to the DoS ISSOs for new and existing systems
  • Oversee CCS security operations team
  • Deliver support related to user accounts, access permission, security group management
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments
  • Execute thorough Quality Assurance (QA) of all ATO documentation
  • Review security controls in accordance with NIST SP 800-53
  • Interpret and analyze complex system/network architecture diagrams
  • Stay current with emerging security trends, technologies, and best practices

Requirements

  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Skills: Assessment & Authorization (A&A), Information Security Operations
  • Minimum of a Secret security clearance
  • Availability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
  • DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II or Information Assurance (IAT) Level II
  • ISC2 Certified in Governance, Risk and Compliance (CGRC) certification required
  • BA/BS degree
