About the role
- Functional Analyst SME overseeing Technical Support tasks and collaborating with stakeholders at GDIT. Ensuring compliance and leading innovative solutions in a remote role.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the Technical Support task area including leading and managing various teams
- Analyze project related issues and create innovative and collaborative solutions
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and charts
- Collect and organize governmental guidance and requirements
- Provide subject matter expertise and support to the client
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes
- Maintain accurate documentation of compliance activities and audit findings
Requirements
- 15+ years of related experience
- Master's or Law Degree in a related field
- 5 years of experience handling sensitive data sources and distribution containing personally identifiable information related to a Federal system
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts
- Proficiency or familiarity with project management tools, particularly Jira
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are highly desirable
