About the role

  • MECM Engineer at GDIT enhancing enterprise IT operations through tailored Windows OS solutions. Collaborating with clients and teams to address unique requirements and ensure compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities

  • Tailor cutting-edge solutions to unique client requirements
  • Perform secure baseline image creation and development of Windows OS images
  • Develop and test operating system task sequences and software deployments with MECM
  • Design and develop physical workstation images and VDI templates
  • Troubleshoot operating system and software deployment failures
  • Provide escalation support for Tier III/IV issues
  • Collaborate with customers and vendors for troubleshooting and resolving problems

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years of related technical experience required
  • Active Top Secret security clearance required
  • CompTIA Security+ CE certification required
  • Demonstrated experience with MECM task sequencing
  • MECM Server and application administration experience
  • Windows 11 Administration experience
  • Microsoft Deployment Toolkit experience
  • Active Directory/GPO administration experience
  • Experience with Remote Access Technologies – VPN, IPSec, VDI (Citrix/VMware/AWS Workspace/Azure)
  • Understanding of DoD & DISA cybersecurity requirements
