- Plan, document, and implement hardware/software refresh of Palo Alto perimeter devices
- Conduct firewall rule set reviews and audits
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures and guides
- Attend weekly teleconferences and meetings related to security
Requirements
- 8+ years of related experience
- US Citizenship Required
- 10+ years IT network engineering support experience (Tier II, Tier III)
- Knowledge of IPv6 and its implementation
- 3+ years supporting cloud environments (AWS and Azure)
- Competence with Linux and firewall command line interfaces
- Expert experience with security devices like Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Checkpoint
- Intermediate Linux experience and basic scripting knowledge
- Experience with network monitoring and log analysis applications such as Splunk Enterprise
