About the role

  • Deputy PMO Director overseeing enterprise-wide project quality initiatives and project manager training at GFT Infrastructure. Driving organizational project management excellence in the AEC industry with a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the PMO Director in driving organizational project management excellence.
  • Oversee enterprise-wide project procedure and project quality initiatives.
  • Develop project manager training in collaboration with Corporate L&D.
  • Verify alignment of projects and programs with business objectives.
  • Define the PMO’s vision, strategy, and operating model.
  • Establish and maintain project management standards, governance frameworks, and quality controls.
  • Monitor project performance, risks, and dependencies across the portfolio.
  • Deliver executive-level reports and insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Mentor and develop project and program management teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • Licensed/Certified Professional in an appropriate program
  • 12+ years of progressive project/program management experience in the AEC industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies in the AEC industry
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and support change across all levels of the organization.
