About the role

  • Associate Director leading commercial forecasting initiatives for Medical Aesthetics at Galderma. Responsible for developing projections and supporting business decisions based on market trends.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all commercial forecasting initiatives for the Medical Aesthetics business unit
  • Develop accurate and timely projections of commercial product volumes for all business planning and reporting processes
  • Drive commercial forecasting and support the company in understanding target audience, competition, and overall market conditions
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to build effective plans and execute on key deliverables
  • Track forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvements in forecast models and processes
  • Identify trends and opportunities within datasets to drive informed decision-making
  • Clearly articulate and frame the narrative and key messaging of monthly results compared to forecast

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 5 or more years of experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company, with 5+ years in analytic or consulting roles
  • Forecasting experience required, leading launch forecasting initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of Gross-to-Net and Managed Market contracting with the ability to work closely with Market Access team to understand impacts and connection points with demand forecasting.
  • Experience with advanced spreadsheets, patient based forecast modeling including dynamic patient models.
  • Hands on experience working with patient-level data as well as syndicated data offerings; specifically, Specialty Pharmacy SPDI, IQVIA LAAD, XPO, XPD, NPA, NSP (or similar offerings).
  • Experience extracting data from commercial data warehouse and working with BI tools to communicate data insights in impactful and visual ways across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in a variety of data management and analytical tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI.
  • Nice to have SQL coding experience.
  • Demonstrated high resilience and agility as well as a keen analytical mindset, curiosity, and ability to proactively anticipate points of confusion.
  • Proven experience communicating complex analyses in a simple and clear manner.
  • Superb verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strategic and innovative thinker with a proven ability to build relationships with key internal leaders to achieve consensus or negotiate through complex challenges.
  • Excellent executive presence with superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly analytical with attention to detail and demonstrated ability to act decisively in the absence of complete information and be comfortable with appropriate risk.
  • Proven ability to provide leadership in a team based on a matrix environment without direct authority and through influence and expertise.
  • Proven track record of effective vendor management and ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and often changing environment.
  • Track record of creating scalable process improvements.
  • Ability to travel (~10% of time) to regional and national meetings.
