Responsibilities
Support IT operations with First- and Second-level support
Administration of IT infrastructure (virtual and physical; backup and recovery)
Integration of various platforms and systems
User administration (e.g., printers, Active Directory, user policies)
For example: name changes and creation of new accounts
Setup and relocation of IT workstations on site
Troubleshooting faulty systems and applications
Management of mobile devices using Mobile Device Management (MDM)
Management, oversight and coordination of collaborations with external IT service providers
Technical coordination with internal departments and sister companies
Selection and procurement of hardware, software and IT-related services
Creation and maintenance of system documentation
Improving the company’s cybersecurity
Continuous improvement of the certified Information Security Management System (ISMS)
Implementation of projects to introduce new business applications
Building and further developing the company’s emergency operations environment
Active preparedness for hacker and ransomware attacks
Collaboration as part of Group IT
Requirements
Completed IT vocational training or career changers with equivalent experience
Experience in First- and Second-level support
Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office 365
Experience coordinating and communicating with internal departments and external service providers
Knowledge of administering and maintaining business applications and their technical infrastructure
Understanding of business processes and requirements of functional departments
Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Team-oriented, independent working style
Creative mindset to actively contribute to the team
Very good German and good English language skills
