About the role

Responsibilities
- The main focus of the role is project work and geotechnical site investigations
- Conducting geotechnical sampling and field and laboratory tests
- Geological/geotechnical description and classification of soils and rocks
- Project work in the field of geotechnics both domestically and internationally, including documentation and review of results, ensuring compliance with specifications and contractual requirements
- Managing projects with regard to quality, cost, schedule and safety requirements, in coordination with the department head and project managers
- Planning, coordinating and carrying out geotechnical investigations, tests and measurements
- Collaboration with project-related subcontractors
Requirements
- Successfully completed university degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Surveying/Geodesy or a comparable field of study
- Initial relevant practical experience in the form of internships or working-student positions is an advantage but not required
- Confident and professionally competent manner with strong communication skills
- Conflict-management skills and strong negotiation abilities
- High level of commitment and motivation
- IT skills: Proficient in Office software and ArcGIS
- Fluent German (C2) and good English skills (B2)
- Driving license (car)
- Willingness to work in intercultural and international teams
- Enjoys working in a team
