About the role

  • Manager P2M Solutions responsible for enhancing SAP production and planning processes at FUCHS. Join a global leader in lubricant solutions with a focus on innovation and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Functional support and further development of production and planning processes in SAP ECC, with a focus on FUCHS-EMEA within the entities FUCHS LUBRICANTS GERMANY GmbH and FUCHS SE
  • Customizing and optimization in SAP PP-PI to model real process-manufacturing requirements
  • Analysis of existing production and planning logics and derivation of improvement measures
  • Support for the production, planning and supply chain departments on system-related issues
  • Ensuring a stable, high-performance and transparent SAP operation in the production environment
  • Optimization and further development of MRP and planning parameters
  • Targeted use and functional assessment of APO functionalities
  • Consideration of QA (quality management) aspects in production processes
  • Coordination of external service providers for adjustments and extensions
  • Creation of functional change requests and structured documentation
  • Support in the S/4HANA transformation program (T2G) (providing ECC process knowledge, reviewing process and design decisions, supporting tests and functional approvals)

Requirements

  • Completed degree in (business) computer science, business administration with an IT focus, or a comparable qualification with relevant practical experience
  • Alternatively, several years of professional experience in supporting and further developing the SAP PP modules, ideally with a focus on PP‑PI (Module PI)
  • Very good process knowledge in production and production planning, preferably from a company in the process industry
  • Experience in designing, implementing and rolling out processes in the P2M environment
  • Solid knowledge of PP‑PI as well as interface knowledge to adjacent modules
  • Basic knowledge of ABAP to be able to conceptually define development requirements
  • Strong affinity for new technologies and willingness to work with modern SAP solutions (e.g., S/4HANA)
  • High social competence as well as strong teamwork, communication and consulting skills
  • Willingness to travel approx. 25% within the EMEA region
  • Business-fluent English skills, both written and spoken
