Responsibilities
Functional support and further development of production and planning processes in SAP ECC, with a focus on FUCHS-EMEA within the entities FUCHS LUBRICANTS GERMANY GmbH and FUCHS SE
Customizing and optimization in SAP PP-PI to model real process-manufacturing requirements
Analysis of existing production and planning logics and derivation of improvement measures
Support for the production, planning and supply chain departments on system-related issues
Ensuring a stable, high-performance and transparent SAP operation in the production environment
Optimization and further development of MRP and planning parameters
Targeted use and functional assessment of APO functionalities
Consideration of QA (quality management) aspects in production processes
Coordination of external service providers for adjustments and extensions
Creation of functional change requests and structured documentation
Support in the S/4HANA transformation program (T2G) (providing ECC process knowledge, reviewing process and design decisions, supporting tests and functional approvals)
Requirements
Completed degree in (business) computer science, business administration with an IT focus, or a comparable qualification with relevant practical experience
Alternatively, several years of professional experience in supporting and further developing the SAP PP modules, ideally with a focus on PP‑PI (Module PI)
Very good process knowledge in production and production planning, preferably from a company in the process industry
Experience in designing, implementing and rolling out processes in the P2M environment
Solid knowledge of PP‑PI as well as interface knowledge to adjacent modules
Basic knowledge of ABAP to be able to conceptually define development requirements
Strong affinity for new technologies and willingness to work with modern SAP solutions (e.g., S/4HANA)
High social competence as well as strong teamwork, communication and consulting skills
Willingness to travel approx. 25% within the EMEA region
Business-fluent English skills, both written and spoken
