About the role

  • Project Manager leading engineering projects in W/WW transmission and utilities for Freese and Nichols. Overseeing project planning, execution, and client communication.

Responsibilities

  • Lead W/WW transmission and utilities projects from planning through design, permitting, and construction support
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, and staffing across multiple projects
  • Direct and review engineering deliverables
  • Coordinate multi-discipline teams and assign work to engineers, designers, and technicians
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, regulators, contractors, and vendors
  • Support project financial performance by developing estimates and managing risks and change
  • Provide construction-phase leadership as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 6+ years of related engineering experience
  • Experience leading project teams and coordinating technical work
  • Ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal teams
  • Experience delivering W/WW transmission and utilities projects
  • Experience managing multi-office teams
  • Experience supporting construction administration
  • Experience mentoring engineers and designers
