About the role

  • Commercial Impact Manager driving performance across leisure centres and family entertainment venues. Supporting teams, building confidence, and enhancing commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Driving commercial performance
  • Supporting underperforming sites
  • Building confident, commercially minded teams
  • Work with Area and Regional Managers to drive commercial performance by creating and delivering effective action plans and identifying growth opportunities through new business, improved programming and local commercial initiatives.
  • Act as a flexible, hands-on commercial resource, providing targeted on-the-ground support to underperforming sites where it will have the greatest impact.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and deliver campaigns that boost participation, footfall and customer spend.
  • Embed strong commercial habits within site teams and support them to interpret data, take ownership and improve outcomes.
  • Work closely with other commercial leads (Aquatics, Children’s Activities, F&B) to align activity and maximise total site income.
  • Share best practice, insights and success stories and inspire, motivate and celebrate strong commercial performance across the organisation.

Requirements

  • Commercially astute with a strong practical understanding of what drives sales, footfall and spend.
  • Adaptable and delivery-focused, with a real passion for achieving commercial results.
  • Experienced in driving income growth and customer engagement in a leisure, fitness or hospitality environment (or similar).
  • A confident communicator and motivator who can energise and inspire teams at all levels.
  • Organised and proactive, able to manage campaigns from planning through to execution and follow-up.
  • Comfortable working across multiple sites and locations, happy to be on the road supporting local teams.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives on action, positivity and measurable outcomes.
  • Proven experience delivering commercial results in a customer-facing, multi-site environment.
  • Experience owning income streams or full P&L responsibility.
  • A hands-on, people-focused approach – able to quickly assess, plan and deliver improvements with teams on the ground.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, coach and motivate.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of income drivers.
  • Flexibility and mobility – able to travel and work across multiple sites as required.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (allowance provided).
  • Experience coordinating national or multi-site campaigns.
  • Experience in the leisure, fitness or hospitality sector (desirable).
