About the role

  • Student assistant responsible for developing web 3D content and backend components at Fraunhofer Institute. Utilize C++, TypeScript, and Python in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Take over the development of our web 3D offering
  • Support the development of the associated backend components
  • Work on the frontend using Preact with TypeScript
  • Utilize OpenGL renderer written in C++ for web 3D
  • Handle tasks related to serving data, metadata, and authentication on the backend using Python
  • Provide work on both frontend and backend during development

Requirements

  • Very good C++ programming skills
  • Basic TypeScript and Preact skills
  • Basic Python and FastAPI skills
  • Strong knowledge in mathematics and linear algebra
  • Proficient English skills
  • Precise, responsible, independent working style
  • Experience with 3D rendering
  • Experience with the frameworks Qt and OpenCV is advantageous
