About the role
- Student assistant responsible for developing web 3D content and backend components at Fraunhofer Institute. Utilize C++, TypeScript, and Python in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Take over the development of our web 3D offering
- Support the development of the associated backend components
- Work on the frontend using Preact with TypeScript
- Utilize OpenGL renderer written in C++ for web 3D
- Handle tasks related to serving data, metadata, and authentication on the backend using Python
- Provide work on both frontend and backend during development
Requirements
- Very good C++ programming skills
- Basic TypeScript and Preact skills
- Basic Python and FastAPI skills
- Strong knowledge in mathematics and linear algebra
- Proficient English skills
- Precise, responsible, independent working style
- Experience with 3D rendering
- Experience with the frameworks Qt and OpenCV is advantageous
