About the role
- Senior programmer responsible for sales forecasting and production planning for complex vehicle lines at Ford. Leading processes and supporting production planning for European markets.
Responsibilities
- Fully responsible of the sales forecasting and production planning processes for a complex vehicle line (i.e Transit V363 or V710), and markets including a channel market and sales mix input for a Big 5 market for all models.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of the sales requirements to support the Ford of Europe Production planning process for the responsible market(s) and models
- Participate and play active role in monthly Ford of Europe senior management reviews.
- Support the monthly European production programme development process with developing monthly volume allocations for responsible model line considering market requirements, capacities, European profitability, business development and share objectives.
- Lead key processes actively, such as Powertrain/Battery Allocations cross carline or Leisure Allocations, or stock target setting across all markets with liasing with key stakeholders, creating and maintaining reports, leading cross functional alignment meetings.
- Act as a back-up and coordinate the programming team in case of LL6 absence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Numeracy and Systemic Thinking
- Excellent communication skills, ability to step up in meetings with senior managers
- Able to work under - deadline driven - pressure
- Prior experience in an analytical / data driven environment is desirable
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- VBA, Data management experience is an advantage
- Confident English
