About the role

  • Internship in Engineering Learning and Development supporting key competency training at Ford in Mexico. Collaborating with various teams and improving professional skills over 12 to 24 months.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation, modification, and management of HCM course requests.
  • Design and maintain the ELD Analytics reporting system.
  • Maintain communication channels and trigger weekly communications, incorporating the latest learning strategies and events.
  • Host and provide support before, during, and after onsite events (e.g., PD Talks, Tech Shows), co-leading supplier touchpoints and streamlining workflows.
  • Develop and implement process efficiencies for ELD (e.g., Supplier Directory, e-Learning Self-Service).
  • Support the ELD team with ad-hoc or emergent requests.

Requirements

  • Active student from any of the last 2 semesters of Engineering or Business
  • 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneNote).
  • Data analysis and visualization skills (knowledge of Power BI or Alteryx is a plus).
  • Familiarity with programming languages (PowerApps, Power Automate, or Visual Basic).
  • Project management skills with the ability to communicate project plans and status updates using appropriate tools.
  • Team player with strong collaborative decision-making skills; ability to build relationships, establish trust, and achieve alignment across the organization.
  • Passion for learning and continuing education.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to evolve projects from ambiguity into a defined, actionable plan.
