Responsibilities
- Join the Blue Oval and help shape how millions experience our vehicles.
- Own CAD in CATIA on 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX).
- Engineer structures, tracks, recliners, foam, trim, and mechatronic features to meet FMVSS/ECE and Ford quality targets.
- Partner with safety, ergonomics, industrial design, and manufacturing.
- Develop components based on functional requirements and system architectures.
Requirements
- B.S. in Automotive, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with 3D CAD and 2D drafting skills.
- Strong engineering fundamentals in the areas of Mechanical, Structural, Materials and GD&T.
- CAE basic knowledge as desirable.
- Fundamental understanding of injection molding and thermoforming, mold flow.
- Knowledge of Core Tools skillset (DFMEA, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, Systems Engineering).
- Knowledge of CATIA V5/V6/ 3DX, Team Center, Vismockup.
- Systems Engineering approach.

- Hands-on experience building and launching automotive products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with project management tools.
