- Embedded Software Engineer supporting software design and testing for vehicle features at Ford across various business areas.
Responsibilities
- Support functional requirements review for software design
- Learn about AutoSAR Classic software using Matlab/Simulink and/or C code
- Help with bench assembly and design for software testing (work with welding and joining tools)
- Understand issues management process
- Support test software function using virtual and physical hardware
- Support testing stations setup (work with breadboards, modules, cables, etc)
Requirements
- Active student from any of the last 2 semesters of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics or a related field of study.
- 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
- Understanding of embedded Algorithm Design for Embedded hardware and/or software
- Matlab/Simulink, Jira, and Github basics (Jama a plus)
- Python, C++ code
- Familiarity or understanding of CAN/Ethernet tools, AutoSAR, and Functional Safety (ISO26262)
- Capable of working with Arduino or microcontrollers
