About the role

  • AEM Software Engineer developing and maintaining digital applications for Corporate Communications at Ford. Collaborating with stakeholders and utilizing Adobe Experience Manager technologies.

Responsibilities

  • As a Corporate Communications AEM Software Engineer, you will develop and maintain key digital applications including @FordOnline, From the Road.
  • Lead the end-to-end technical execution of Corporate Communications products.
  • Partner with the Product Owner to review requirements and collaborate with the Tech Anchor to design, code, and deploy scalable frameworks using React and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Leverage AEM and React to build scalable features and resolve technical issues while partnering closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, user-focused solutions.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, designers, and product managers to define requirements, evaluate technical approaches, and architect solutions
  • Design, develop, and deliver feature implementations within sprint commitments
  • Conduct thorough testing across development and QA environments to ensure quality and performance standards
  • Triage production issues and deploy timely fixes to maintain site reliability and user experience
  • Provide application support and support cloud migrations.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 5+ years of AEM and solid Java experience including hands-on development and troubleshooting of software systems
  • Experience with code quality tools (e.g., 42Crunch, SonarQube, etc.).
  • Experience with build and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, etc.).
  • Skilled in some of these technologies: Java, REST, ReactJS; Frontend tools (HTML5, CSS, JAVASCRIPT)
  • Experience in AEM Cloud implementation and migrating pages, content, users from on-prem to cloud.
  • Advanced Degree (Master’s)
