  • Data Analyst delivering deep insights and analytics at PokerStars. Creating actionable insights through data analysis in online gaming industry.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering deep insight and analytics within a fast-paced culture in the world’s largest online gaming company
  • Dive into databases, querying large volumes of behavioural data to create actionable insights
  • Deliver recommendations to department heads and directors
  • Lead in-depth analysis of customer behaviour
  • Develop dashboards and executive summaries for various audiences
  • Establish and track key performance indicators and provide ad-hoc analytical support
  • Bring extensive data to life, adding insight to key decision-making processes

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year of relevant work experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field such as Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering
  • Fluent in SQL with the ability to create complex queries from scratch
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to translate complex problems into clear, prioritised solutions
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage day-to-day work independently and consistently deliver quality work within deadlines
  • Experience presenting and reporting analyses to stakeholders
  • Ability to create high-quality data visualisations and presentations using PowerPoint and tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau or PowerBI
  • Experience with programming (e.g., Python), knowledge of technology (e.g., websites and ETLs) and prior experience data warehouse products like Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Amazon RedShift etc. is desirable
