About the role
- Project Manager overseeing daily operations for Flatwater, Inc. while ensuring project compliance and managing client relations in a federal environment.
Responsibilities
- Holds overall responsibility for the performance of work under the Task Order
- Acts as the primary authority to act on behalf of the Contractor regarding daily operations
- Serves as the first point of contact for the Government and various client divisions to resolve issues or discrepancies
- Ensures that technical personnel effectively support DEMD mission objectives
- Responsible for project planning, budgeting, and performance
- Acts as the primary customer contact for all project activities
- Directs and interfaces with contract staff to ensure requirements are fulfilled
- Ensures strict compliance with quality requirements
- Manages the project budget, determines appropriate revenue recognition, and monitors receivables and profitability
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Management, business, administration, engineering, or a related field is required
- At least five (5) years’ experience managing people and programs in public sector performance management
- Three (3) years of experience in U.S. Government-supported grants/contracts management preferred
- PMP certification preferred
- Must maintain a valid Driver’s License and be insurable
- Must successfully pass a Moderate Background Investigation (NACI)
- Requires a Federal government-issued Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card
- Mandatory completion of Federal Information Systems Security Awareness (FISSA) training and signing of a Non-Disclosure Agreement
