About the role
- Market Research Associate in São Paulo supporting Fitch’s capital markets relationships and delivering key market insights. Collaborating with cross-sector teams while managing essential business relationships.
Responsibilities
- Support Brazil’s country manager in managing and developing Fitch’s Issuers, Investor and Bankers existing and new business relationships
- Deep capital markets research and prepare briefings for meetings
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations, marketing materials and email campaigns under guidance from senior members of the team
- Maintain internal database, information and update presentations and dashboards required for the business
- Monitor news, keep track of Brazil’s capital markets activities (local and external debt issuances), refinancing and M&A activities daily
- Provide regional support to the LATAM business across projects, data requests and market intelligence, as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or analytically focused field of study.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and attention to details
- Be pro-active on researching and finding new business opportunities (business oriented), strong organizational skills.
- AI skills to work smarter.
