About the role
- QA Analyst specializing in automation within FIS's payments solutions team, ensuring quality in test planning and execution while collaborating with development teams.
Responsibilities
- Work as an experienced QA Analyst integrated within one of our specialist development teams
- Define test cases and fulfilling test requirements
- Expanding and maintaining automation frameworks
- Taking ownership of test planning and execution
- Documenting test cases and detailed scripts with test management tools
- Contributing and reviewing test automation scripts to integrate with our CI/CD pipeline
- Managing test activities and recording KPIs
- Working collaboratively with the development team to ensure a high standard of deliverables
- Investigating, logging, reporting, escalating and working collaboratively to resolve defects.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience
- Hands-on experience in Automation Framework implementation using Python, CI/CD (Github Actions / Jenkins), SQL, Docker
- Functional and automation testing experience (both backend and frontend)
- Proficiency in SQL, including creating complex queries to pull data from multiple tables using joins
- Good understanding of the Trade Life Cycle or experience working in Capital markets Post trade platforms
- Strong grasp of UNIX/Linux commands and scripting preferred
- Exposure to UI automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Goal orientated mindset
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude.
