Responsibilities
Support the company’s mission of providing outstanding service to customers and drivers
Courteously receive incoming calls from customers and enter orders
Communicate with dispatch and drivers to ensure maximum customer service
Correctly capture customer requests in the company’s ERP system
Learn and maintain high levels of product knowledge
Develop and maintain professional relations with customers
Inform customers of items not ordered or out of stock and offer alternatives
Ensure accuracy of customer information and data entry into ERP
Partner with Drivers and Outside Sales to meet customer requirements in a timely fashion
Perform other duties as required
Requirements
Demonstrated phone-based customer service
Knowledge of seafood preferred, but not required
High School diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated desire to work in an exciting fast-paced environment
Have highly developed English verbal communication skills
High proficiency in using personal computer and Microsoft Office Suite, including high internet fluency
ERP experience a plus
