About the role

  • Senior Software Engineer creating AI-driven solutions for accounting automation at FinQuery. Leading full-stack development from concept to production, optimizing financial reporting for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery of full-stack features end-to-end, designing and building across .NET back-end services, REST APIs, and React front-ends from requirements through production release
  • Design and evolve microservice architecture, APIs, and data models that scale with the product
  • Drive technical decision-making within the team by shaping approach, challenging assumptions, and bringing clarity to complex engineering problems
  • Operate as an orchestrator of AI-driven development, directing agentic tools across codebases to produce production-quality outcomes
  • Apply pragmatic engineering judgment to calibrate effort and test coverage relative to actual risk
  • Maintain code quality at agentic speed, leveraging automated tools for mechanical review while focusing human judgment on architectural fit and edge cases
  • Treat documentation as "context engineering" by contributing to a living knowledge base that feeds AI tools across planning and deployment
  • Conduct all business in accordance with FinQuery policies and procedures
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 7+ years of related software engineering experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science
  • Deep proficiency in .NET, .NET MVC, ORMs, and C#
  • Strong command of Relational Databases with a preference for Postgres
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, REST APIs, and GitHub Actions
  • Experience building production-grade frontend applications using React and Typescript
  • Familiarity with Authentication and Authorization patterns such as RBAC and ABAC
  • Proven ability to collaborate and communicate with clarity across engineering and product teams
  • Ability to balance technical velocity with necessary investment in risk mitigation
