About the role

  • Claims Analyst managing customer claims at a European fintech startup. Handling caseloads and collaborating with stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer claims efficiently and professionally.
  • Own and manage your own caseload while supporting teammates when needed.
  • Ensure all claim files are accurately listed, audit-ready, and supported with all required documentation (created, collected, and recorded).
  • Work closely with bailiffs, police, and other external third parties.
  • Communicate effectively with different stakeholders to ensure fast and correct resolution of cases.
  • Handle claims coming from multiple sources, preferably within a banking or fintech environment.

Requirements

  • You have **one (1) year of experience in claims processing**.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong independent judgment, decision-making ability, and analytical skills.
  • Experience or strong interest in the legal field.
  • Proficient with **MS Office, Google Suite, and JIRA**.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Language competency: **English (essential)** plus one additional language (**French / Italian / German / Dutch**).
