About the role
- Quality Assurance/Performance Test Engineer responsible for improving delivery approach and product quality. Collaborating on new test scenarios and performance test executions for the greek market.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute testing scenarios/test cases for package applications implemented using custom technologies.
- Execute performance testing phases.
- Understand business requirements.
- Design optimized test scenarios, plan testing activities and estimate test efforts.
- Identify test environment and test data requirements, identify dependencies on external and internal applications.
- Report test status, log and document defects.
- Support defect resolution and analyze the test outcome for continuous improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (mandatory).
- 1+ years of experience as a test engineer (automation/performance or manual testing).
- Banking experience will be considered as strong plus.
- Basic understanding of Performance testing life cycle and related terminologies.
- Good understanding and hands-on experience of API testing (e.g using **postman** ).
- Basic understanding and working experience of **Jmeter** tool for Performance testing.
- Basic experience in Perf test planning/Execution/ reporting.
- Experience in documenting test scenarios and test cases, executing test cases to verify that a systemic/application is built as per the requirements.
- Good knowledge of Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Experience in working and interacting with client facing, technology and project management teams.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Problem solving, organization and communication skills.
- Presentation skills and ability to successfully interact with stakeholders.
- Excellent command of the English language.
