About the role

• Junior DevOps/Cloud Engineer at FINARTIX managing cloud solutions and tech projects for banking clients. Involved in pipeline creation, version releases, and applying DevOps best practices.

Responsibilities

• We are currently looking for a passionate and motivated Junior DevOps/Cloud Engineers to join FINARTIX's Software Engineering Practice and our projects on behalf of our major clients in banking sector.
• Your ability to learn and apply advanced Technology solutions, will give you the opportunity to grow professionally and participate in the design, implementation and deployment of leading-edge technologies.
• As a DevOps/Cloud Engineer at FINARTIX, you will be responsible for the creation of pipelines, version releases, including supporting the build and test infrastructure for multiple teams involved in the project delivery for our clients, coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth product/module/version delivery of highest quality and release to relevant distribution channels.
• We value continuous improvement and are incorporating DevOps best practices.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (mandatory).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab, etc.), Docker and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, such as virtualization, scalability, and elasticity.
• Professional experience with automation and IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience using version control systems (e.g. GIT, SVN, TFS).
• Software Engineering experience and knowledge of at least one dynamic scripting language (Python, Ruby, Groovy, etc.)
• Familiarity with RBDMS databases (MySQL, Postgres).
• Good programming skills with a mindset of solving hard problems efficiently with creativity.
• Communication & Time Management Skills.
• Analytical thinking & Problem-Solving Attitude.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Languages required: English and Greek, both written and verbal.
