Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Analyse financial performance and identify trends and variances.
• Support scenario planning to evaluate financial outcomes under different business conditions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Develop and streamline financial systems and processes.
• Develop dashboards and visualisations for real-time performance insights.
• Ensure compliance with financial procedures and internal controls.
• Provide adhoc support to the finance team.

Requirements

• The successful applicant will be an important part of the finance team and will be involved with:
• Prepare and analyse financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Analyse financial performance and identify trends and variances with good collaboration with each of the department heads.
• Analyse variances between actual results and the business plan/forecast, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
• Support scenario planning to evaluate potential financial outcomes under different business conditions.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Develop and streamline financial systems and processes for improved financial management including automation of monthly reporting.
• Develop dashboards and visualisations to provide real-time performance insights to decision makers.
• Ensure compliance with financial procedures and internal controls.
• Adhoc support to the finance team including audit requirements.
• **Skills/Attributes/Experience**
• Preferably a qualified accountant
• Good communication skills to liaise with other departments and senior leaders.
• Proficient in the use of financial software and analysis tools.
• Organised with an attention to detail.
• Problem solving approach.
