Responsibilities
Using claims systems to accurately document files
Manage a diary and handle first and third party auto claims promptly
Conduct thorough investigations,
Confirm coverage, determine liability, and establish damages
Negotiate the settlement of assigned claims
Inspect damaged property and vehicles
Estimate cost of repair or replacement for damaged or stolen property
Determines and reports on subrogation potential
Report theft, fraud, and arson losses as required
Maintain job knowledge through intermittent training
Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Successful completion of claims training program required
Insurance Adjusters License in states where applicable required
One year experience in a customer service related position preferred.
