Responsibilities
- Using claims systems to accurately document files
- Manage a diary and handle first and third party auto claims promptly
- Conduct thorough investigations,
- Confirm coverage, determine liability, and establish damages
- Negotiate the settlement of assigned claims
- Inspect damaged property and vehicles
- Estimate cost of repair or replacement for damaged or stolen property
- Determines and reports on subrogation potential
- Report theft, fraud, and arson losses as required
- Maintain job knowledge through intermittent training
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Successful completion of claims training program required
- Insurance Adjusters License in states where applicable required
- One year experience in a customer service related position preferred.
